Painting of a sunflower field under a blue sky with distant trees on the horizon
A watercolor painting of a landscape with tall grass and flowers in the foreground, a green field with trees in the middle ground, and a historic clock tower in the background under a pale, cloudy sky.
Watercolor painting of pink flowers in terracotta pots arranged on a shelf against a light background.

Being self taught and creating art, in my latter years of life, is my passion. I paint in an eclectic style and have taken part in both solo and group art exhibitions within the Lincolnshire area.

Over recent years, several artworks have been published in art and informative magazines, (Artists & Illustrators, Landscape and Paint and Create) - the latter formerly known as Society for All Artists (SAA) and one painting published in a book in 2023 called ‘What Inspires Art?’ - edited by Kevin Byron, a former Trustee of the Usher Gallery in Lincoln, U.K.

I believe that my work evokes emotions, and reflections, through every piece - turning every day moments into extraordinary works of light, colour and quiet beauty, whether it be in my floral, landscapes, animal or seascapes.

Watercolour, especially, gives me the freedom to blend precision with play, letting each piece take on a life of its own. Through my art, I hope to encourage others to slow down, notice the small things, and find beauty in the simple moments around us.

Turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
